Tom has a deep-rooted passion for selling land that exudes from any conversation with him about land and farms. As a Tennessee native, Tom is knowledgeable about every region of the State of Tennessee, with a focus on Middle Tennessee. His ten-year stint in the Plantation Belt of Albany, Georgia further instilled a love for the land and the allure of land ownership. Tom’s experience in the corporate world also taught him that it is important to not only be a good steward of the land, but equally important, to be a good steward of his client’s money. He is very knowledgeable with regards to land acquisition for investment, and a strong believer that land is one of the safest asset classes to place money. He has consistently been in the top 1% in sales volume in Tennessee. As a farm owner himself, Tom has experienced the self-fulfillment that there is “nothing like a farm”. His farm in Williamson County is complete with a guest cottage, party barn, spring creek, pond, UTV’s, four wheelers, tractors and an antique truck, that is always open as a model farm to those wanting to test drive the lifestyle they are seeking. Tom lives in Nolensville, TN with his wife Kate and his two children, Huck and Savannah.

Nora grew up in the Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts before moving to the Adirondack Mountains in New York where she worked in real estate. She has also resided in Vermont. Nora has lived and worked in many beautiful places, but she finally found her home in Middle Tennessee. It was in Leipers Fork where she first fell in love with Tennessee. This community welcomed her many years ago and she has continued to build relationships with the residents and visitors over the years. Aside from her passion for real estate, she also loves horses and has been a horse woman since she was able to form sentences. She enjoys traveling with her Quarter Horse, Steel, who has been with her since he was 6 months old. Nora understands the needs of horse enthusiasts as well as the attributes desired in a horse farm. Laura Frances has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate management. She joined Covey Rise Properties after serving as the Transaction Manager at Maynard Cooper & Gale Law Firm, and then assisted Attorney Talbott Ottinger with the transition into his own firm. Prior to her work in Real Estate Law, she was the Operations Manager for a top producing real estate team for 5 years and assisted buyers and sellers of her own as an Affiliate Broker. Her responsibilities included supervising business-critical processes, leading workflow on multi-unit developments, creating marketing content, developing and streamlining operations to supporting a seven agent team. In addition to providing the right tools, creative marketing, and streamlining transaction workflow, Laura Frances’ passion is to provide the best customer service to make sure the needs of her buyers and sellers are met.

A longtime dream came true in August of 2020 when she, her son, and her husband moved out of Nashville’s city center and settled on a farm in Lewis County, TN. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, tending to the blueberries and garden, taking part in projects with her husband, making art, and entertaining guests on the farm.

Finn is a three year old English Cocker Spaniel that is the face of Covey Rise Properties. After a troubled start of eating shoes, jackets and furniture Finn went to boarding school at Southern Tradition Kennels in Leesburg, Georgia, where he was taught the ways of upland and waterfowl hunting. He came back a new dog and is one of the most fun-loving well behaved dogs you will meet. Finn is present on most showings riding in the UTV helping entertain clients.

When Finn is not selling farms he can be found in his happy places of chasing quail and ducks or a relaxing swim in one of Tennessee’s beautiful waterways.

With years of experience in investment Real Estate and home renovations, McKenna sees potential within every property she steps into. Her father’s career in residential and developer financing, in conjunction with her mother’s career in architecture design, has played a large part in her passion for real estate, design, and property investment. With a degree in Business Marketing, McKenna has successfully blended all of her education, experience and passion into one goal… helping people find, purchase and develop their property to its greatest potential. After graduating college she partnered up with her mom and founded their home renovation business. Focusing on homes that are nestled on unique plots of land in the surrounding areas of Franklin, has allowed them to venture into the land development side of real estate. Joining Covey Rise Properties as an Affiliate Broker and Customer Relations Concierge allows McKenna to represent both buyers and sellers while providing the highest level of customer experience. She believes in building relationships that last far beyond the buying/selling process. In her free time she is usually outdoors with her Australian Shepherd puppy, finding new trails to run or with her families farm animals in Leipers Fork, TN.
